Save it just in case huh?

I plan on getting it off soon. I think I'll try the dental floss method. Is there any chance when taking it off you will rip paint off the back also?

No, you will not rip paint off. All your doing is basically cutting the glue with dental floss or fishing line. Then use goo gone to clean off the rest of the adhesive and you should be good to go. Just giving you the heads up that thing is stuck on there good.

Make sure when you're doing the dental floss thing to pull away from the car. I used fishing line and didn't pull away from the car and had lots of little scratches left over. Just be careful, they buffed out so it's all good. Just be aware.

Yeah I had a few light scratches as well. Found a nice deep one but I know for a fact that wasn't me. It kinda shows a little to with the vinyl on. I'm going to have touch it up with a black marker or something.

You mean out the floss behind it and pull away towards you? Not just edge along between back side and the car?

Forget the dental floss/fishing line method! Just heat it really good with a hair dryer, take your plastic trim removal tools if you have them or a small straight blade screwdriver protected by a rag and pry up. Once you get it started it will come off! That cutout has gotten me alot of compliments!

thank you

thank for the great comments. this is an easy upgrade. even for the 10s like mine with bow tie holes. my fill job is not perfect. the vinyl covers most of the filler.
part of my delay installing, was making the decision on maybe putting white vinyl down first. as you can "not" won.

thank you
