Guys, do what I did for your garage. It cost me 2 bucks. Looks funny but it definitely does its job.

The vette's doors are the same way. After about 1/3 they want to jump open. Already had a close call in the garage. Not taking a change with my less than observant wife.

anyways, I went to walmart, and bought 2 small width by 7 feet long pool noodle. You have to buy the one with the hole down the middle. Took a 1/2 inch drill bit and drilled through one side of the noodle. Did about 8 holes.

Then took some long screws, and some thick washers. Pushed them through the holes. Then I measured where the door would most often hit. And marked it.

Then I just screwed it to the wall. And walah! it works.

That's brilliant. There are a lot of cool little garage tricks that may look jury rigged, but they are cheap ways to protect your stuff.

Anyway, Clarkson and Hammond will probably love this car then due to this feature. Pity whatever Mays is driving.

Just got home from dinner and my dumb azz friend let the door fly open into my other car in the garage so now my camaro has a chip in the passenger side door edge & my mercedes has a new door dent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was riding with a friend in his 57' chevy show truck, he parked far away from everyone at a burger joint lot,BUT he put my door right next to a concrete lamp post, I touched it with the door.... we had our burgers and I never saw him again.
