I'd still rather have the 69

I love the little stat sheet on the 69:

Fuel Consumption

EPA fuel economy (mpg) Was the EPA invented in 1969?
Edmunds observed (mpg) Are you kidding?
Fuel tank capacity (U.S. gal.) 19
Driving range (mi.) Where's the next gas station?

And Warranty.. Yeah, pretty much the same as my bird, too:

Warranty
Bumper-to-bumper Yeah, right
Powertrain Nope
Corrosion Probably
Roadside assistance You got a thumb?
Free scheduled maintenance DIY

that wing spoiler on the 2011 looks uglier than Stallone's face at the end of Rocky 2.

The coves on the new Charger made the entire car for me. Not too retro, but captured the bad ass look of the old model really well. Makes the perfect cop car in my opinion.

you mean those stupid looking things on the door? awful. The angle of them look so random since they don't conform to or accentuate the rest of the door shape.

wrong. The rear quarters go up to those body lines just fine. they are not random.

he probably just has to see it in person to get a grasp of it, because the new charger doesnt seem to be as photogenic sometimes. I dont like that the car looks a lil too chunky (especially sitting next to the 69' RT) and i cant believe they found a way to add 200lbs to it. but other than that i like it. i like it more than the previous ones!

I'm not sure it actually picked up 200 pounds.

One of the R/T's at my local dealer was, as it was coming off the truck on Monday, weighed to confirm the shipping weight. It was 4,201 lbs, which makes sense. The Challenger R/T's are 4031 lbs shipped and you have to take in to account the added doors and such.

Interesting. We are building a Challenger with Richard Petty's Garage right now. I fly in to their shop at the end of the month. My guess is our numbers will be a bit stronger
