Does anyone sell......

Rear upper control arms? The factory ones look like they weigh alot! I was interested in shedding some weigh and they look really heavy. Anyone make them?

Dang it! I hope someone is going to make them. Any idea what they weigh? They are thick and look heavy.

It is a big arm with a vertical and horizontal attachment points to the sub-frame. It is doing similar work to the trailing arm, toe link and lower control arm beneath it.

Bud when or if you get your car Pedderized you wouldn't notice that weight so honestly don't worry about it. I've driven in a Pedderized Camaro SS and honestly it felt like a 3000 lb car, not kidding.

Well feeling lighter is nice, but being lighter is even better. I'm exploring my options in lightening up my car to go faster in a straight line.

+1 A good set of suspension mods will always make a car feel lighter and more nimble but there is no substitute for actual weight reduction. Especially when it comes to an over weight car like these. Weight reduction benefits every aspect of performance and handling. If you are very intentional about it you can select mods that improve performance and are lighter than the stock parts they replace.

Thx! Ima give them a call.

I have some ideas on dropping some weight, and I'll do them piece by piece over time. The next things on my list right now is a stall, hp tuners software and lighter wheels/tires. Then im going to start buying lighter weight suspension parts, lighter batter, lighter driveshaft, aluminum ign coil brackets, rear subframe inserts and then after that, I'll do cam and heads. And then a 427 shortblock...lol
