I have it and to be honest it doesnt suit the car at all. It wrecks the lines of the car big time ruining the reverse mohawk. If i upgrade to the V8 no sunroof this time around.

i loved T-tops when i was younger. whenever i saw a Camaro or Trans Am without them, i always thought to myself what a waste of a car. since we can't have T-tops now, having a moonroof/sunroof is the next best thing. not big on convertibles btw.

I prefer with a sunroon, I love having it open and letting the breeze flow in, not only does it feel great but it looks great to! Aftermarket installed sunroof is not the way to go, they may leak after awhile, instead of regretting not getting one after a purchase I'd suggest you do! In the end its all up to what you enjoy tho! Who cares how others feel about it, your driving it, your spending your money on it, get what you like!

The main reason I ordered mine with the sunroof is the cave affect without it. If your one of those people that tint all your glass so you can not be seen; go without the sunroof. If you want everyone to know your the cool guy driving one, get the sunroof and let the light shine in.

I'm on mission to never take a second look at car with tinted glass. If they don't want you to see them, then I don't need to see their car either.

I like them about 10-15% of the time I spend behind the wheel... so for me it was a NO. of course I got a LS anyway so it didn't matter in the end. Plus the roof looks sooooo much better without it.

I'd like to see pics that clearly show the top side by side - for me it wasn't an option because CaptVlad is 6'1" and nearly brushes the top as it is - losing 2 inches for the sunroof was an automatic no-go.

Not to go too far off topic but some of us who get tinting do so because we live in places like Texas and tinting blocks heat.

We have a Camaro with the sunroof at my work. I really like it.

I know it does take away the reverse mohawk, but I never noticed it anyway until someone posted about it.

Also, some say it lowers the headliner, so if you are tall you should try one out before buying it. I am 5'9" and don't have a problem.

If I was getting a new Camaro, it definitely would have the sunroof.

I'm 6'3" no issue with my sunroof, my son loves it and at night the cruising is so cool and nice

Either way is good , mine doesn't have one , and I also thinks it takes away from the reverse Mohawk look . Do not like the way it sits on top of the roof !

It didn't matter either way for me. My big requirement was that it was (1) black, (2) 6-speed, (3) and not test driven by someone out trying to do 0-60 runs like I did with the GT500 an hour before.

With or without the sun-roof didn't really matter to me. Black 6-speed under $34K was what I wanted and that's what I got:-)

Oh hai everyone! First post, so be nice. I'm considering a 2SS/RS and I can *finally* afford one I've never owned a Camaro in my life, so go easy My only experience with factory sunroofs is that they tend to leak over time. The glass tends to warp just that tiny bit over time. Plus, I think the sunroof detracts from the lines of the car. So I'm kind of leery getting one.
