Assuming the Z28 gets the LSA, its 550hp/550tq rating coupled with the Camaro and a lighter GT500 with the current 540hp/510tq would make for a heck of a matchup.
Exactly, which makes me just want to either win one now, or wait to purchase a Z/28 in '12. I'm more or less putting my purchasing plans on hold. It's only 2 years post grad, and with a full time job, it'll be much easier for me to go about purchasing it then rather than now.

And heck, GM isn't having that many issues in court and it's more or less been swept under the rug of talking-head land. With that said, GM is bound to come back and boost the Camaro flight even more with the Z/28.

Here's to 2012 boys n' gals! VIVE LA Z/28!

Wonder if they meant model year 2011 for the vert. Lol. That would mean earlier then u'ld expect.

And if it's taking till 2012 to make a z28 then they are starting over from scratch. Here's to hoping for a DI v8.

Now if GM is smart... then when they do release the Z28 with Transfromers 3 they will off an EXACT clone of the Bumblebee. That will help push some of those cars better than the possible 50k price tag.
I'd love if they did that, and made the c7 camaro come out with it. That would make me sooooo happy. I'd love for both of those to come out when they're getting the attention from TF3

They said I can get a 2LT for $300 over dealer invoice. Shows everybody that there is a waiting line for the SS and nobody wants the LS/LT here in the Northwest. More decisions, more decisions. Wait and see and hope the Pathy lasts or wait a little longer till the perfume wears off the 2SS/RS or bite the bullet and order now.........hmmmm, I have waited this long, so I can wait till the dealers are selling them at reasonable prices. I don't think I want to wait 2 more years. If I do, it will give me plenty of time to clean out the garage since it will not be stored outside in the driveway.
Well, if your Pathfinder can hold out just a bit longer, continually rising gas prices and the satisfaction of the initial surge of enthusiast demand should make the SS much more affordable and available. Drive your current vehicle into the ground and then see what you can find.

Now comes another choice. Z28 or vert. I don't think I'll be able to afford both options.

This is great news if it's true. I guess I'll be waiting now to see what happens. Would much rather have a Z28 than a SS.

Listening to a bankrupt company with no real plan for making money sounds foolish in my opinion. Don't hold your breath on these money losing high performance cars.

It is good to hear something positive as far as the Z28 development. It is still too far ahead for any such information to be reliable. I won't believe that the Z28 is being released until we see some spy shots or more solid leaks.

I'm going to get a Super Sport in the meantime, and it will be my goal to outperform the Z28 when it comes out. It is possible that I will get a Z28 if it comes out soon enough.
