I am not sure about the Zaino and decals. I usually go around the decals. I do get as close as I can, but do not go over the decals. |

Nice thread,
Guy around the corner has all three. Plays hell getting them to car shows at the same time though. Must be a pain keeping all three shining. Don't know if any are 6 speeds. He loves that year! Robin

i actually have one that i am gonna be repairing, I bought the car when i was 17 and it was it TERRIBLE shape and still kind of is but im gonna take her to a body shop maybe in December or around tax season to have a new drivers quarter panel put on fix some other stuff and re paint her artic white and paint on the stripes and maybe do the "berger panel" mod but in Hugger Orange instead of black
i cant wait to get her fixed right and make her beautiful again! btw the motor and transmission our out and so is almost every part possible lol she has been sitting for over a year now this is how she was at 17 thanks me to rear ending some one but she was VERY unsafe to drive i found out from the body shop (i had the whole front clip replaced cause of this wreck and some prior damage from the original owner) this is her currently

I dont know if this would be any good to you, I'm up in canada, and I know of one at a dealer for sale right now. It only has 15k kms, so 10k miles roughly, white with the stripes, manual.
Right now its listed at 19,960 canadian, so about 18,4 US. Obviously would involve travel/shipping so I dont know if this would be feasible or not, but I thought I'd mention it. Seeing as how we are on the topic of the 97, I thought I'd just show this pic of my buddys.. |

They are pretty rare although I have seen several available on ebay over the past year.
I am the original owner of one that has 130,000 miles on it and it's still in great condition. Mine is 1 of 729 with the six-speed manual and t-tops. Everyday driver until the 2010 comes in. Not for sale though, keeping it for my 3 month old son for when he turns 16. Good luck with the search. |
