A little background... I've always loved Houndstooth interiors. I'm not sure they'd work so well on the 5th gen, but how about making the two-tone a little more interesting. My mockup's below. I'm not sure whether I'd stick with the silver acrylic panels or try to find body colored ones.

Do you think this is manageable? And if so, how much do you think it would cost to do?

acrylic is pretty hard to ahear paint too. I would probably have to be baked or something. I'm sure it would cost a good penny but nothing insane.

I wonder if you could find a vehicle graphics shop that can print out a matching ABM vinyl sticker that you could adhere to the surface of the stock silver panels. Might be a cheaper/non-permanent alternative.

I really think GM dropped the ball in the accessories department by not making matching interior panels for all of the exterior colors. Would have been an easy upgrade option and generated some extra cash for the supplier, GM, and the dealers doing the installs.

Okay, someone missed the point. The big difference isn't the door panel... it's the seats!

No reason you couldn't find a good upholstery shop to do it for you. CamaroScotty had Katzkin Leather do a car for him with a similar pattern layout.

DSVcustoms is going to be working on a set of seats as well as the whole interior. Once we have them finished I will be happy to post a photo.

Your ABM looks great. I assume that is not a stock panel in the car but it looks great.

I'll look forward to seeing what you guys come up with. That's not my car, though. Just a photoshop. Although my dealer told me that my order will be going in this week.
