I have a pair of mufflers that normally come with the LG motorsports Cat back exhaust
I replaced the axel back section only with another exhaust so this is what is left.

Yes they are 3 inch inlet with about 3.5 or 4 inch tips

Are the tips supposed to be that way or are they damaged?

I've never seen the LG exhaust in person before.

I really don't know. but If you like the sound of the mufflers than you can always cut them off and put on others, if you so choose.
