Turn/Lane Change Signal

Just found a cool little thing about my car today. If you press the turn signal up or down ,but not all the way to where it locks, it turns the signal on for lane changes. Pretty nice so you don't always have to put it back in the middle. Okay Okay. Im easily ammused! But I think it is ! Just figured I would let those of you that didn't know in on my enjoyment. Haha!

So you didn't read the Owners Manual? There is lots more good stuff in there!

Read the manual.... It's way more fun to find out about it like this...

also if you leave the signal on too long an exclamation point shows up in the DIC and says Turn Signal On...
Find that in the manual...

I did read the manual. But only the important stuff like break in and fluids. I left all of the other stuff up to pure curiosity and tinkering!

Also if you just push it up or down for just a second and let it go it will flash three times all by itself.

Whenever I make a lane change in any car I drive I just barely press up or down on the lever and then let off. That way you don't have to click it back into position. It sounds like you've come across a cool feature though.

Yeah that is the problem...remembering to use it! Haha! Even when I do I always go back to it to try and turn it off. It never fails.

I might have found one of these weird features yesterday, or it could be coincidence

I love that both windows are automatic up AND down. But yesterday I did the autodown then immediately up (or maybe vice-versa) very quickly and both seemed to stop perfectly halfway. I'm pretty sure I just got lucky, but something about it seemed automated.

Anybody heard anything like this?

I've experienced the same thing - push both down then up and they seem to stop halfway and pretty much at the same height - not a "feature" just the way the switches work I'm sure.

I do like that the passenger window is auto as well.
