So I set out to do the least expensive build possible to see if it could be done and still produce what these guy produce with mor expensive parts and this was the results: |

The exhaust had me worried at first because I knew slot of money could be dropped there. But as a kid I remember my grandparents and their friends used to swear by cherry bomb and pacesetter, this was before the Internet days do you bought what the parts store had in stock and what you could afford. So I guess I went back to my upbringing and low and behold they fell within the budget. And as a plus I can't ever remember my grandparents ever complaining about these companies.

I have no reason to lie, about it, everything was brand new in the box. After being in the marine corp for 17yrs you meet some very interesting people. Some placed in high positions in companies. That's why I couldn't list the prices individually. However if you don't believe me I'm sorry I can not convince you. The whole purpose of this post was to show a budget build could be done |

But as for "budget build", well, no one can replicate it because most of us are not marines with friends in high places. So for you, $1700, for the rest of us, $2500+. But no big deal, you still got good ideas to offer. I'd love to hear how you do with the cam. Padre |

And I'll clarify a lil bit, sorry for the confusion the cam was a gift.

Your correct padre.
The cam was awesome. With everything, I got 453hp and 430tq. |

That's pretty awesome. I was looking at those newer Comp Cams as well. It's nice to see some results. And the fact that you installed the cam yourself must be very satisfying. Padre |
