Fuse Pull or Not

Quick question guys, I am really thinking about doing a fuse pull. YES, I did break it in the Darrin Morgan way, and it has ran with nothing but premium. I've just been reading so much on the fuse pull. Should I do it just for the heck of it? People say it doesn't seem to hurt.

It's just a fuse pull, it won't hurt. I did mine a couple of weeks ago and didn't notice any performance gain though. Make sure you use the little gadget (fuse puller) that come in the fuse box.

I did the fuse pull when I first got the vehicle because I had a hunch that it was filled with 87 octane. Sure enough I was right. Let the tank almost run out, did the fuse pull, and the car was a completely different animal. Just pull #5 and #20, let the vehicle sit for a few hours or a complete day, and go on about your business.

Do it....it's not going to hurt anything and it's free. No reason not to.

I did mine last week just in case for some reason it made a difference. Doesn't seem like it did for me but didn't hurt anything either.

Broke mine in hard, drove it for 3000 miles, did the fuse pull, went on a 4000 mile trip, used as low as 89 octane gas along the way, since it was all that was available, I Love Central Texas, and when I got home, filled the car from almost empty with 93 octane, drove that tank out, refilled it again with 93 and then did a fuse pull... Pretty big difference on the ol' butt dyno....

Well. I may start charging money for every fuse pull. Haven't decided yet.

But to the OP, if you want confirmation of wether it works or not, time your car before and after.

I haven't tried this yet, but pulling the two fuses will reset the computer settings back to default. People mainly due this for one main reason and that is to do with the type of gas that is put in during the first fill. Some dealers would only put regular and not premium in the V8's. By filling with Regular fuel the computer programs the car to "handle" or perform to that type of octane. So basically in a nutshell: it underpowers the car telling it that it can only handle regular octane not premium. Many experts on this site have claimed that doing a fuse pull has greatly improved their "slow" camaros. It's just a thing you can do if you aren't sure if your car is performing to it's full potential. I know it does more helpful stuff for the camaro but the octane reset is the main concern I have read about. I think PQ discovered the method and proved it worked? I may be wrong.

Also some of my info may or may not be 100% correct but that's all I can remember off the top of my head
