I'm in the same damn boat. I'm trying to learn the difference in the Whipple and the Maggie now.
I LOVE the whistle and sound of the PC with the BOV but love the looks of the Whipple and I can keep my Roto-Fab CAI if I go with the Whipple. On the other hand, if I go PC I can keep my ported LS3 intake and pretty intake cover haha. Either way, I can keep my longtubes and have a nice setup. I'm only looking for 550-600 at the wheels or enough to beat my buddies GT500 that is pulleyd down. I run straight line and love the corners as well so I don't know which would be the better choice. My limiting factor is the price. I'll have to find a used setup for around $4K for a tuner kit

i used to think i liked the sound of the PC until i heard it in person the other day. the blow off valves sound sick put the procharger it self just sounds like something is broken. if you were into cars and heard it youd think theres something wrong with the car haha

Procharger is good for making big power numbers in f1x form. Otherwise not very crazy about them. My freind had a f1c on his gto & 99 camaro and either unit was off the car at any given time for bearing issues, oil leaks etc.. Even had one freeze up and snap a belt. I prefer whipple as it too can make big power reliably. Had a gmc truck with a 2.9 on it for over 100k miles. Not one issue other than being hard on tires

Your in L.I so I have to guess your car will see traffic? Traffic means heat. top mount not gonna like heat. As far as sound goes, I'd go with PC. Love my ECS kit with loud BOV and with meth no heat issues at all.

Whipple All The Way
Whipple 100% for many reasons - The torque curve on the dyno speaks for itself (70* angle from 2800RPM's all the way to 7000RPM's on my car); Aesthetically looks better sitting on top of that motor; A true sleeper blower - hardly any noticeable whine; The flexibility to provide enough boost for 500RWHP builds all the way 1000RWHP builds just by changing the Pulley size...Take it from me, the Whipple blower is a true street beast!

under 700 rwhp magnuson, over 700 wheel whipple..... under 700 rwhp the base agp kit will spank all the blower kits in average hp and tq across the board.... that being said I have tuned them all, they all haul ass when setup correctly. We are a dealer for all the companies and can set any one up with a complete package that works...

Do any of you dealers ever have used setups that you can sell for a damn good price? Either looking for a Whipple, Maggie or Procharger

Just got my car back from ADM, put my whipple on a 417 and my gosh it screams! For your power goals either would be fine just pick which one you like best.
