I was wondering if anyone here has painted T3 black stripes on a rally yellow car.

I ordered a 2013 and really like the way T3 stripes look, so I'm back and forth between having stripes painted or buying the OEM T3 Stripes from GM.

Any thoughts between the two? The difference in price is going to be around $750, and I'm not sure how much better painted stripes would be than the decals.
