Starting my Interior

Well I finally got around to starting my interior. I wrapped the door inserts in black Alcantara fabric, next will be the dash pieces and then center console. After that I will be painting the silver trim pieces black and hopefully getting some seat covers to finish it off.

Removing the door panels actually went pretty quick. Hardest part was getting the connectors off for the driver side door since two of them have tabs on the bottom you can't really see.

gluing the fabric was pretty straight forward, just have to take your time..I think it looks better then the grey plastic that comes with the LS

Looks good! Where did you get the fabric and adhesive from?

I got the fabric from gulf fabrics and I used 3m super90 spray adhesive that I got from home depot. For the edges I used a glue for plastic, vinyl, fabric.

Nope, not at all. This was my first attempt at it.

I normally hate the look of fabric on the dash/door inserts, but this actually looks really good! Nice job

I wanted to do this, but couldn't figure on how to make it work with my ABL door lighting.
