I'm an exhaust aficionado, and I'd love to hear something from Fbodfather on how they're developing the exhaust for the Camaro. I know they are extremely limited by EPA noise emission standards, and although it hurts me to say this, if it even comes close to how good a Mustang GT sounds I'm all over it.

Catbacks? Usually none, unless the stealer can prove that your exhaust was contacting a piece of suspension, drivetrain, or body and caused the warranty issue.

Personally, I'll wait for Borla and Corsa to come out with their catbacks and choose one based on sound, weight, and drone. I'll honestly probably end up with the Corsa because they put a LOT of engineering into their systems to not drone.

Quick question. My dealer didnt know if GMPP shorty headers and catback exhaust would void the cars warranty. He said that it probably will. Does anyone know for sure?

Thanks,
Taz

they only void your warrenty for the exhaust manifolds and the exhaust itself. but they come with thier own warranty...if they are installed by the dealer.

I suspect GMPP performance accessories will be the same as FRPP parts, which do not void the warranty if installed by the dealer, but do void the warranty if you install them yourself or you pay someone other than the dealer to install them.

Ill wait till I hear from forum members hear that get theirs done. I had a Stillen Cat-back Exhaust on my Infiniti, the one thing I loved about the exhaust was that at Highway cruising I could get the exhaust coming out in just the right node (or anti-node) that caused a deep reverberating sound that I loved. So if a forum member mentions that sound effect, that will be the one I buy. Excelleration noise wont matter to much too me, b/c in that case all that I will be hearing is the wine of the Supercharger.

I'm hoping SLP comes out with a Loudmouth for the Camaro. I've always been a fan of SLP performance parts and the Loudmouths sounded great on the F-body's.

Depending on the look of the exhaust tips and the price, I'll choose either slp loudmouth or just muffler delete. The mustang bone stock does sound pretty good. The GTO actually sounded very nice bone stock. The mustang sounded really good with no muffler. My corvette scares the neighbors.

Now THIS could sound like a great option! I think this is quite the possibility...
