Do you have an order number?
Any word if the first Hurst has rolled off the line yet?

They won't roll off until the production week of August 23rd - that's when I announced the constraint ended - for the TPW week of 8/23 last week

YAY I'm in the TPW for the first Hurst shifters. Sorry, I'm excited about it. I had it on the order, then back off, then back on, and finally decided to keep it.

Can anyone tell me if the Hurst can be installed at the dealer or is it only available from the factory? I'd like to have one installed on a 2011 I'm about to purchase

That was originally how it was going to be done, but due to the overwhelming demand for the shifter GM decided to have them installed on the line. I would say the dealer could order you up one and they could do it there but only after the production line shifters are passed thru since that's the higher demand.

For this new Factory version, that is - you can get a regular HURST now. |

they are being put into the cars at the factory. If Dealers want to put them in, they can order them in a few months.
