Handheld tunes recommendations

Just delving into all the available aftermarket handheld tuning devices and trying to figure out which is going to be best for me. I want something to start out with, since I am new to the Camaro, but something that is not going to have "short legs" (easily grown out of). I do own and have owned tuned cars.

I live overseas, so I have to rely on feedback/recommendations and my own research. We have tuners here, but nobody I know, and most people here rely on stateside input/recommendations or the occasional traveling tuning group.

Ultimately, I will choose one handheld tuner and I will be buying it over the internet, so dealer reputation has got to be solid.

Any advice/help/recommendation you folks can give will be most appreciated.

SCT Tuner from Jannetty!!! No further questions needed!!! He is the "Master" Tuner on the 5th Gens, and can e-mail you a custom tune to upload on your handheld SCT.

Thanks for the info! So, the only difference I can see between the SCT SF3 and X3 is that the X3 allows a person to do datalogging. The Livewire series looks more involved. I suppose Jannetty can tell me what is more suitable for me. I like the cleanness that the SS offers inside the car. I just wouldn't know where to put the Livewire monitor without stuff looking cluttered around the dash.

Love my JRE tune. It was all done with the SCT and datalogging. I haven't had any problems with his tune from day one.
Hit him up, he won't steer you wrong.

Thanks guys! I've been to JRE's site, and I saw Ted's list of instructions in another thread on how to initially use the SCT and what is required to get tunes from him and what he needs from the end-user. Pretty plain English and easy to understand. He uses 91 Octane and 93 Octane for tunes. Here in Kuwait, we have 91 Octane, but we also have 95 Octane and 98 Octane pump gas. I'll have to talk to him and give him this information, since I use either 95 or 98 Octane.

I'm going to go with Ted. Until I have more experience with tuning (still need to attend and get my certification), I'll stick with the hand-held SCT Ted offers, as well as his services.
