I must say I am very jealous of you guys and your headers, especially Ozzy with those BA Pfadt Headers. Those are a must buy for me when bonus time comes around!! Did you guys get tuned? If not have you thrown a CEL yet? I assume you both got high flow cats from Kooks and Pfadt respectively. Also I think its awesome that we are still the coolest and most active TP-Dub around!!!

Haven't been tuned yet, waiting on newb's tuner, and I'll try to do it then. Got the HFCs, I'd say they might even have a (very) little bit more ground clearance from the stock cats. And yes, I threw a CEL within five minutes of startup, lol

Thanks guys, I figured they would throw a CEL that's just too good to be true.

that being said, i wouldn't buy the Rx again. I'd buy the Elite can. Rx has severe problems shipping in a timely manner, i think i waited over two months for mine and i read recently he's still backlogged but taking orders. When i finally did get mine, it was the wrong color! yeah, i'm sure i read in one of the threads about that they said it wouldn't require a tune, but i figured if they didn't that's just a bonus. wasn't counting on it. |

Y, I read all the negative posts on the rx can in the vendors section, will order the elite from apex. Was it hard to remove the small hose to connect the catch car?

RX and factory here as well. The hose wasn't as hard as I expected. Mine came off pretty quick actually.

I don't recall anything about the can being hard to install. The instructions were pretty good

Big hands make it a bitch... the existing hard plastic hose has detent keys that have to be pressed and then you just slide it off. I have some pictures in my build thread. The entire install even with big hands takes about 20 minutes. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showpo...5&postcount=18 |
