I've always been jealous of the mailslot and potential for a Knight Rider like scanner, so I remove my V6 bumper and put on an SS Bumper...

That's cool and now with people putting ZL1 bumpers on there will probably be plenty of SS bumpers laying around to buy cheaply.

One thing I was curious about. Why is it that the SS people got so upset over V6 people putting on SS bumpers but I have yet to see any ZL1 guys protest to people with SS's putting ZLI hoods, grills, and ground effects on their cars as being posers? Are ZL1 people just higher class owners?

My guess would be mainly because there's less a difference between the SS and the ZL1 than there is between the SS and the LT/LS? I don't know. I honestly wouldn't put ZL1 parts on my 2SS for fear of it looking like a poser. That is until I get the supercharger put on and get it tuned to 500+hp at the wheels, then I probably wouldn't feel so bad. :-D All that being said I have looked at some really nice aftermarket hoods and spoilers and while I like some of the hood choices out there I keep coming back to the ZL1 hood. Why did GM have to make it look so badass? Very tempting.

Oh and I guess to keep this post in line with the thread's purpose, today was the first day I didn't drive my Camaro but I *did* detail the inside to make her all purdy for driving to work tomorrow.

I'm curious about the RS logo on the car because I noticed your headlights aren't halo headlights. Is that decorative or was there an RS package that didn't have the halo lights?

Probably the bumper he got already had the grill with the emblem. No RS package ever came without the halo lights.

Yeah but if that were the case it supposed to be an SS bumper so wouldn't it have a red SS on it? RS logos go on the V6 with halo lights no?

true, but then he could have had an accident at some time that is why he bought a used ss bumper and maybe the grill was from a different car.

Drove to work, called my detail guy, he just got done and it looks great.
It rained here all last week and it was a mess.
