No change in my MPG from my Hurst shifter...well not totally true, Its so much fun to run hard thru the gears now that my MPG has fallen but I attribute that more to my right foot

The hurst shifter bought from Hurst is a 40% reduction, it will only affect your shift points if you want to shift at higher RPMs. The higher the RPM and faster you accelerate the less fuel MPG your going to get. So if you want to maintain fuel Economy then drive like a slow lady, just make sure you are on the right side of the lane cause i wont be driving that slow. When you see a red flash run by you just know...... im gone.

May be seeing a loss in mpg for the same reason the ex: exhaust guys (pick your part) will most likely see an initial drop. You're conciously or subconciously trying out the new part lol. Have fun!

Too funny! Dude, get your foot out of the throttle and your mpg will rise!

You're really enjoying the shifter and you're winding that hot little motor up higher!

No, his clutch isn't slipping!! He's just winding it up more before he shifts.

You've got to be kidding me. Do you really, honestly believe that a short throw shifter costs gas mileage and decrease drivetrain loss. If you really think that , I have some ocean front property in Montana I'll sell you really cheap. Come on man, think before you make comments like that.
