I have to ask this of all my Camaro family. If you own a corvette as my dad does, and you pass another corvette you do the simple wave, or head nod. This is the same with Harley Riders. After I got my Camaro I have started the wave and love the feeling I have when I see another Camaro owner wave or nod.

So remember, the next time you see a Camaro wave or nod, you never know it may be someone from camaro5

Almost every other Camaro owner I've come across will wave back at me. Only a few have acted as though they are "above" that sort of thing.

When I first got mine there weren't too many others around town but when I started seeing more and passing them I noticed they were waving so I in turn waved back...it's now an automatic thing I do whenever I see another camaro. I love the feeling when ppl wave back too!! One of my friends was riding with me one day and was all "oh so that's what all u ppl with new camaros do now...the wave" I told him HELLS YEAH!!!

In Texas, it was the trucks always waving...so I'm conditioned well...
but like you, when I first got mine last June, I was the only one in my area I saw....but plenty of folks were waving at me anyway.... (or the car...

Everyone waves at me but i think its a "Slow Down" wave.

I have been doing the wave since I got my Corvette in '05. I started to do it to other Camaro owners in town and most of them have waved back.

I get waves and hell yeahs, and everything in between. Usually i acknowledge with a nice engine rev (GMPP axleback).

My dad's got a vette also and introduced me to the "wave" last summer when we road tripped up to Long Island from Florida...now I'm the one getting waved at and waving back to all my fellow camaro drivers...even the earlier gen camaros and I wave back and forth

. One guy in a blue 2010 camaro kept flashing his lights at me...don't know if he was substituting for a wave or warning me about a cop down the road
