Have the exact same shift knob in my Jeep, when it gets hot in the summer, it will slip right off.

the one that is on there is the second one I had for the car. the first one, I used the wrong size plastic adapter (as well as not having the allen screw tightened all the way) and went to shift to third one night and the whole thing came off and I lost the battery that lights up the eyes in the shifter.

went out and got a new one the next day

I will eventually just get rid of the thing and get something different, it's hard to find something that looks good in a Jeep though. When mine came off, it was just a hard shift into 2nd, I was like, UH OHHH!

thanks man! I'm just about done with the big projects at the new house so hopefully when I get back home from work and get back to working on her. got some rather... disturbing information about the motor from the guy who built it. seems he had this motor and another one I helped him build that are nearly identical save for a few minor differences. But those differences have made me have to completely reorganize my plans for the car.

I wanted to go forced induction anyway.

yeah. the biggest difference is in the price for parts.

nitrous setup ~ $1000.00

Blower/efi setup ~ ..... still working on that one....but I can guarantee you it will be more expensive
