THIS ^^ is what I need then! ha

I have taken mine in for minor cosmetic issues a while back, but no problems since. Owned my '11 for a year now, just hit 10k miles. so (knock on wood), I wont have to take her in for anything else.

Im holding off on the cam for now- atleast another year or so. Ill be happy with headers and exhaust and suspension for now

Yeh...just go with GM.

Do it, or dont do it?
Did you by any chance read you sig. It goes, "LS3 M6 -CAI,Diablosport tune," your warranty is already gone so why not just mod on and enjoy it, the thing is to get a good shop to do the job.

Also depends on the mods that you are doing AND your dealer.

I elected to buy a modded car with low miles, just because my car was originally purchased in 09, so my 3yr/36k mile warranty is up this year anyway. As far as powertrain. I drive 3 miles round trip to work every day because I live on base, and the speed limit is 20mph, and by the time I get reassigned, the 5yr/100k mile warranty will be dead anyway. At that point, I would have been wishing I had just bought the car w/ mods so I didn't have to dump more money in that I didn't necessarily have (or my wife wouldn't let me spend). I don't drive enough to realistically have anything major go wrong within that time (knock on wood). It really just comes down to your individual circumstances, and whether it is worth it to you to risk it.

I bought the Edelbrock E-Force. And I've already started my "Just in case- 376 LSX" fund.

I enjoy the power of my Camaro and the fuel mileage hasn't suffered a bit with the $3k plus mods I have. If something breaks, it will probably be something I "wanted" to mod anyway and I will just upgrade to the better part. If my engine blew (worst case), you can find plenty of very low mileage "take outs" even on ebay for somewhere around $5K to $10K some with transmissions. I've had 30 or more Chevys in my lifetime and never broke a transmission or engine or any other major component. I'm not worried about my warranty....my dealer is a hot rodder at heart.

If you have a big budget then go big or go home. If you're not made of money, keep the warranty. Plenty of time to build after it expires.
