I've also been an anti-addon warranty person throughout my car buying years. When the finance guy tried his car/tire warranty sales pitch on me, I quickly told him that I wasn't interested, but knew he had to try. He originally wanted over $500 for the plan, but when I flatly told him I didn't want it, it instantly dropped $200 off of it. I knew the cost of replacement our our tires and wheels, so this made it worthwhile in my eyes. I was doing my best to keep the bottom line down, but this one extravagance seemed to be a good deal. This sure showed me how much profit there is in these plans, though.
Just my experience, Tara
