Clearing O2 codes

When you clear the O2 codes from the computer, does it clear the entire computer. Also, just as I cleared the codes the engine instantly was idling better. Should I clear the codes before a drag run or should I leave it alone?

The codes seem to be because the fuel trims are getting too far out of spec. Resetting the code will reset the fuel trims, which could easily improve idle quality.

I don't know if resetting before a drag would be necessary, but it certainly couldn't hurt. I think scrming should get in on this too. He knows more about it than I do.

Yeah my LTs are throwin codes from rear sensors. I borrowed a gadget to clear them but they keep coming back at a more rapid pace each time.

Thought about getting some O2 sensor spacers?

I get codes for the 02s also, just read em and clear with the dash hawk. The reason for the codes is because of emissions standards being strict so the CEL will come on because it is reading out of its small range, when you tune to keep them away you widen the range.
thats my understanding of the problem, pretty sure im right.
