1SS or 2SS, WHAT DO I GET???!!!?!!?!!!??
I want to go down and order soon, my small town dealership has only pre-sold 1.
I could use the money i save getting the 1SS to upgrade but.....i really love leather and the C&C package. Should i get the 1SS and get the front seats custom upholstered with leather? How much would that cost? Maybe it wont be worth it?! After figuring my monthly payment after APR and dwn pymnt the difference is 1SS $425 and 2SS $453. Im so up in the air!!! Please give me your thoughts, maybe you could think of something im not. V/R |

I agree, it is a no brainer. If you get the best model, you will never regret or wonder, "What If"!

If you're going to buy the car, BUY THE CAR!
If you get an SS, get the 2SS/RS. Why hold back? |

Personally, I think the C&C package is well worth it. But you need to decide what is best for you.

I'm kinda in the same position so I feel your pain. I'd like to save some money by going 1SS but I really want the C&C pkg. Chevy did that on purpose of course.

I will be in the same place or my son will when he or I get one. That will be hard, get what you can afford. I am not to worried about leather seats but C&C with bluetooth would be really nice, and I would like it. Although to me its a MUSCLE car not a Bimmer, but that would be why I consider a 2SS because of C&C pack. But do what you can afford and is best for you. I got my Chevy Impala Base Sedan in 2001 when my Olds died (un-planned) and went with a nearly stripper base with cruise, and RDS/tape deck, wish I would have gotten an LS with a cd player now looking back... The reason I did was I wanted a smaller payment and had just got done adding onto my house. So take that for what it is worth. Still when my son or I get one it most likely be a 1SS with no RS package and polished wheels. Trans is a flip of the coin.

You damn right the only big screw-up on this car, if you want to call that big. I don't want leather so it makes it easier for me to be cheap. Thanks GM or I would be shelling out another 800 bucks for it.

Exactly, I don't want leather either but I might deal w/it for C&C.

I agree. If you get the car, get THE car.
Sometimes it's wise to hold off a bit and save. Good things come to those who wait....hold on....I know we've been waiting for a long time. But, if you were to hold off a little while longer, could you save more? Also, you might want to take into account that there's 12,000 or so orders kind of in front of yours. That's going to take a little while to get through...so, a little more time to save. I'd go w/ the $28 more per month option. It's not just leather you get...after all. |
