Dealer says car is in Transit!!!!

Just received a call from my dealer in Central Ontario, and my car is in transit
Can't wait, I may get the kids tent and sleeping bags to wait in the parking lot

My wife put a small deposit down for me Christmas 2006. Order was placed by dealer on the first possible day. (I can't remember the date)
We live only a few hours from Oshawa.
My dealer said it could be possible today or Sat.
But no for sure delivery time.

I drove past my dealer at 7:00 this morning, there was a truck with a bunch of GMC trucks parked in the lot with my silver 2SS sitting at the back waiting to be unloaded.
Stopped in, rubbed the back bumper with my hand. Met the driver, he unloaded it. I got to sit in it and check it out before any of the sales staff were even there.
Now I'm off to the bank to get the certified cheque.
Hopefully the PDI won't take too long.

Congratulations

I was expecting to do the same by now, but it seems mine has been put in QC with an estimated ship date of Who T.F. knows !!

Brought it home yesterday afternoon.
So HAPPY!!!
Fit and finish is excellent.
I hung around and watched them wash it, and do the cleanup.
The dealership took a ton of pics for me during the PDI and unloading from the truck.
I am so happy with Paul Sadlon Motors and all of the staff there.
I will be bringing the car back to the dealer to give everyone a ride.
VIN number ends with 9108105
NO RECALL NEEDED, they fixed it on the line before it was finished.

I've been waiting since 2006.

WORTH THE WAIT !!!!

I'll try to post pictures later, haven't done the pics before

I figured by the 8000th build they'd be fixing the recall along the way. Thanks for the update.
