Ok guys/gals, here's the deal. I got an email today (June 9th) from my contact up at Hare Chevrolet in Noblesville and they would like to host a Camaro5.com local chapter group meet.
My contact Chris Theisen, The Director of Digital Communications for Hare Chevrolet would like to get something nailed down for a Saturday from 2pm until. He said they are trying to put together some Mobil1 prizes and other things to offer those who attend as well as having their airbrush paint guy there to show the things he can do as far as painting fusebox and motor covers as well as other things. They offer this service as part of their regular parts-service and or other accessory items. He even asked if we wanted them to provide food and beverages?

I really think this would be a great function for us to establish and yet another venue to have at our disposal that could be a yearly event if not just for future settings.
Hare invited me to the Opening Day event at IMS and again to the Corvette and now included Camaro Rally that was the day before this years race at IMS, which also included a lap around the track and a closed event hosted by Chevrolet. It was really nice and over 500 Corvette and Camaro's attended this function which made the Opening Day even pale in comparison to the 150 Camaro's that showed up.

Anyway, I've sent this info to OldSchoolCamaro for his input since he put together the Hooter's event and I don't get notifications on subscriptions to threads I post on. So, this being said, I would like to know what Saturday you all would consider a good day to have this. Hare Chevrolet is just off of SR37 on Stoney Creek Road.
So lets hear it, we could possibly swing a June 26th or move into July excluding the 3rd since its the weekend of the Fourth so this would give us the 10th, 17th, 24th or the 31st.

Now that you have the 411, think about it and let me or OldSchoolCamaro know what you think and we'll try to make it happen. Of course, it will be about what the majority can do on a particular date. I think we need to take into consideration of Hare Chevrolet needing to move some of their inventory so we'll have ample parking so the cars will be on display and we can mingle and see what everyone has done since our last meet at the Ritter's on May 28th.

Lets hear from ya so we can let Chris know what our desires are and he can plan on their end.

I didn't want to do the 3rd because it's the holiday weekend.

I sent PM's to the world on this and hopefully they'll look at this thread and post something. If the 26th looks good, I'll get that date to Chris and we'll flow with it. Should be a great time! Hare does a lot of things and are very active on facebook with Fantasy Test Drives and contest on everything which may include gift certificates for parts or accessories and oil changes.

Anyway, if I can get the date locked by you guys by Friday, and give it to Chris on the same, we should have plenty of time to get it together and everyone have a good time.

Hare Chevy is definetly one of the top Chevy Dealers in Indy and all class so I am sure this will be a great event. I attached this thread to the C5ICC C5 Indiana Camaro Club) thread for fellow hoosiers.

Sounds like a great idea. I am all for them providing food, drink and giveaways. I think that will bring in more folks. I am also glad to help plan the event.

Here are the dates that work for me: July 10th, 17th, or the 31st.

June 26th I am in Texas, July 3rd is my 40th b-day party, and July 24th is NASCAR weekend here in Indy.

If some dates work for the majority, but I am not available, I can still help with the planning.

The only Saturday that I am busy in both June or July is June 19th. I'll be in Iowa for the Iowa 250! Other than that I will be there. Tell them to leave a 2LT SIM Equinox w/ leather on the lot so my wife can look at it
