Need immediate 1LE advise
June 6, I ordered a 2014 1LE 1SS with the only option being NPP exhaust.
Aspin Gray. Talking with my dealer today, we found a 2013 1LE, just in to the dealer, white, with rear vision package, Boston sound system, trunk mat, and premium floor mats. The MSRP is 39,290.00 My dealer will do a dealer trade for it. I can buy it for 36,000 even. I'm thinking this car will be cheaper than the 14 and of course better equipped. Go for the 13 or wait for the 14 ? Your thoughts are appreciated. |

Depends on if you like the color just as much and which body style you like better.

Tough choice. Do you like the curb appeal of one over the other. I think 36k might be high for a last year model 2SS 1LE. You may have some negotiating room. Did you calculate their invoice price for the specific options? Also, find out the build date, add four weeks then subtract today from that date. That'll tell you how much if the holdback they will get which you can use to your advantage too. Good luck.

depends on what you like. I don't care for the 14's myself, I have a 13 and am quite happy with it. 36k is a good price for the car especially if the miles are low. my vote is go for the 13, but you have to do what is right for you in the end. which ever one you wind up with make sure to post some pics!

I went with the white and love how the black stands out. The 14 will prob b a bit more money on sticker plus almost no negation room on the price.

If the 2013 doesn't have NPP, consider the cost of an aftermarket exhaust before deciding which is cheaper. My 1LE is white and i love it but it is a pain to keep clean, sooo much brake dust. The hood vent in the '14 would be nice too, seems like my engine bay gets really hot. The only thing I don't like about the '14 is the rear end... like most people it seems.
If you're like me, you'll be listening to the NPP instead of the radio. I thought the backup camera was standard and mats are much cheaper just about anywhere other than the dealership. And, white wasn't your first color choice. I'd probably wait... if you don't mind the '14 tail lights.

Get what you want don't settle. The 1LE in any form is going to be killer!! Also how many miles on the dealers car?! Some of these get raped right off the truck.... be careful.

when i was looking to get a 1le, i looked around and i had some choices on the colors. only found 2 that were local and not over msrp that i considered. it was missing the npp option and came with a nav system that i didnt need or want. it was white and thats what i wanted most. added the exhaust aftermarket and totally happy.
if you can live with your choice then grab the 2013. if not. wait. gl.

To be clear npp is NOT available from dealers... only installed at factory.

If the 2013 has the NPP, go with the '13 all the way!
