Nothing big here. Thought I would shoot some pics with better noon day lighting for the heck of it. If you can see it in the wheel pics I put up left then right. The lefts are the repaired rims the tire place messed up and fixed, But the clearcoat is nicer and more glossy, appears "darker" then the GM version. Either the stock clearcoat is dulled after a year(?) or aftermarket did a better job. Anyway looks better, just have to redue the stock ones one day.In the meantime the old rims were polished and waxed to help the finish appearance

Latest appearance mod for the engine cover. Got the lettering "chevrolet" and "V8" in "light reflective silver" from Reflective Concepts. These are vinyl adhesive letter as alot of others but are" reflective" I guess they show up better in the sun? Dont know, was getting dusk so will see tomorrow. They look white but are silver, either way gives a nice touch to the cover. Only $20 delivered, "V8" comes free with the "chevrolet" letters for now and are official GM licenced product. The company has all kinds of colors and regular non reflective finishs as well.

They are supposed to be "reflective" whatever that means in regards to vinyl letters, will see when the sunlight hits them I guess. If not I will hit them with a coat of clear.

Will see Steve Sat at the SoCal Family reunion BBQ.I will have it face the sun and have him do a sunglasses test...lol

Painted the batt post red and the + in black. Also re clear coated the engine cover to coat the new letters so they stay on.

Well, decided to see what the car looked like without the front bowtie. I like it, big bowtie is to big for the smaller appearance of the Heritage grill, imo. I can always put it back but this looks cleaner and meaner. I left the little ss on but that may come off. If anything gets added it will be the Spark's Billet SS emblem which is just right for the grill and old school with a modern touch.
