How about this...

as a base engine?
In this document there is a mention about 3.0 l V6 with 260 hp. Maybe this could be a base engine for new Camaro?

I'm pretty sure it has already been said there will only be one V6. Spyshots all but confirm it will be the same 3.6L DI V6 as offered in the Cadillac CTS (same engine refered to in the 2nd half of that document). GM apparently scrapped the idea of having a smaller "base" V6 some time ago. I think we will see the turbo 4cyl before we see another V6 in the lineup.
