In truck manufacturing, a "pilot" vehicle is built to test the manufacturability, durability among other things. Some other things that those vehicles are used for are things like marketing and validation of concept. Some manufacturers "give" those vehicles to dealers to drive and test out for them. Some say they destroy them, but this is not always true. I wound up with a "pilot" F250 that was a real stinker to get parts for...being as the the truck was built almost a year before actual production.

Thanks for the info on my question. At least we should finally get a look at a near finished product. I just hope ordering specs (especially top colors) come out early enought before ordering time to give me (us) time to make color combination choices. Every other option for me is a no brainer....order EVERYTHING

So...

Red Jewel, gray top, gray interior, 2SS/RS, Automatic

Wife said a black top and black interior, but in a convertible, I think gray would be cooler in the heat...

She's working on her end of the deal, 5 mos., and counting...

Probably be only white, tan or black tops. Gray would be cool with that color combo though.

OK, I'll guess. Like someone else said it's probably a weight loss goal or health related goal. Cute lady regardless.

GM hasn't done white tops in a while, I wouldn't be surprised w/ Black, Gray, and Tan.

Blonde, attractive and likes Camaros. Forget the bet. Buy her the car. You found a keeper!

If you want to be the first one on the block to get one of these cars... and not have to worry about ANYTHING... send Camaro Scotty a deposit over the phone the minute he says they are ready to order... or earlier if he accepts that.. ahhaha

no surprises with this guy!
