Jack Points (for oil change)

I dont know if i'm posting in the right topic but can someone take a picture of the appropriate jack point on the driver side for the Camaro? I read the manual but it isn't exactly the clearest. Any help would be appreciated.

Good picture of where to use jack stands and to use a jack to lift the car. There are two other threads that have pictures also.

I'm more willing to give you a tip and use a home made ramp instead. It would be safer and very cheap.

I agree I made these and don't have to worry about jacking the car up or it falling on me

I picked up a set of floor ramps on sale at Pep Boys for $30...much better than jacking the car up. If you do jack up the car...PLEASE use jack stands for support once it is up...too many unfortunate accidents.

Man floor ramps scare me. I had some slide around once and then one time I drove off the end of the ramp. Just bad luck I guess. I got a huge nascar like floor jack that will get the car up in minutes. I then slide the jack stands under there and for added saftey I let the jack hold just a tad of weight of the car if the stands were to fail. Buy yourself a creeper and roll around under the car with a headlamp or flashlight and check everything out. I ofter find odd things like wood or debris jammed in the nooks and crannys. Plus I think its just fun to look under the cars and see how there are made. Anyone with me on that one?

I changed the oil on my V6 last night, and I could reach the drain plug from the front of the car without putting the car on a jack at all.
Of course, the filter is changed from the top, so the car never left the ground.
