Front is great. Rear is great.

Side...yeah. Needs work.

It's not like the Cruze is a super exciting design folks, at least the dart has some design pizazz, the Cruze is nice looking, but it is about the most boring design out there. The Focus and Elantra both are 2 others that carry more power in their design than the Cruze. And offering more than 138 HP is nice too.

Rumor is it is coming with around 300 from a new DI 2.4 turbo version of the Caliber SRT4s.

And yet Cruze is outselling both cars.

Dart shows promise and will sell well. Will it sell at Cruze levels? Doubtful.

Dart is new, Focus has had supply problems which hurt it when it came out, not to mention the MyFord touch and DCT transmission issues, They just can't make enough Elantras judging by what my dealer states and inability to get them.I am not knocking the Cruze, but designwise, it is kinda Camry boring, which i guess makes it great for the non carloving masses.

Oh please. The Focus supply issue excuse has been way overused. It's like every Ford product has a supply issue on this site and that's the only reason it isn't destroying its GM competitor.

All I know is that dealers around here were not able to get them for a long time and even now they have trouble getting more than 2 or 3. I would guess the bigger issue though is the thumpy CVT and difficult to use MyFordTouch crap. i wouldn't buy one with it. That said the things like 3 different engines, up to 3 different transmissions, high scale options, available AWD, and more than likely a future SRT version should provide good. if they can manage to push nearly 10000 Chrysler 200s a month for the last how many months, than they should have no problem selling the MUCH superior Dart in very decent numbers. Will it sell in Cruze numbers? I have no idea. Could it? Certainly! My whole point origionally was about design only, where lookswise the Dart is just plain and sporty compared to the Cruzes everysedan and rather boring. the Cruze is about a 4 year old design and it really looks it.

As for the Cruze, I like it, but the lack of power and wonky transmission (that part hopefully fixed for 12), really turned me off from it.

ugly. why call it a dart? i was expecting a retro here....dissapointed but i'm not a Dodge person anyway.IMO
