How much better when warm? I'd check the hose clamps, maybe they loosened up in the cold weather.

Have you run a full tank of gas through since it started running rough? Is the check engine light on?

I would check all the hose connections again. Also check the orientation of the MAF.

I will check the hoses and clamps. What's the orientation of the MAF? And yes i've ran several full tanks through. No check engine light. If it had one i would've scanned it a long time ago.

I seem to remember that the MAF could be installed backwards. The locking tab should be up.

I also added silicon gasket maker around the MAF for better sealing.

The arrow points to towards the throttle body. That's the way i did it.

I do remember sometimes when the car was cold I would let out the clutch and it would sputter and shake like crazy. Only sometimes and not for very long.

Any trouble codes? If it hasn't been tuned after the CAI install, that could be the problem, but you need to verify it with a scan tool.

Excactly. I would never do this mod again without it being tuned. But voiding the warranty ain't gonna happen.

I just had the same exact problem... When it started getting down around 20-30 degrees F.
I found two things...one the small vacuum hose running from the intake to the engine had a small crack in it. ( however I don't believe this was the issue at all) second was all the hose clamps were loose especially around the throttle body and the filter was barely on. I tightened all of them and it runs great. Mine eventually threw a codes p0174 and p0171. After tightening clamps I the codes and they haven't come back. The LS3 sucks a ton of air and from what I've read too... much an the computer can't compute the air fuel curve.
