For those who have this on their Camaros, what modification was required for the installation ?

These are very popular for the V6 guys. It is a cut and weld modification, so I recommend having an exhaust shop install for you. We have them in stock, feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions.

Best regards,

I was told that it would hit the cross brace. Just was wondering if that was accurate or what modification was performed.

Tons of guys on here including myself have this installed. They shop must cut out the stock H pipe and put this in its place. If they install it there, it will not hit anything.

Just drove it home and wow, no rasp at all. Just a mean low tone to it, if completes my exhaust system.

Had mine installed at an exhaust muffler shop. Needed it to reduce and eliminate the RASP.

These photos should help you see what it takes. No issue with it hitting anything either.

If you have a cat back it already has an x-pipe. The resonated x-pipe being discussed is used for drone and rasp control. If you swapped to that it would make your exhaust quieter.
