Another MBRP Install

I installed my MBRP exhaust today. I got the the 304 stainless steel version.

I installed it in my garage with the car on ramps and jack stands. It took me a little less that 2.5 hours to get it done. If I had to do it again I could probably do it in a little over an hour.

It was fairly easy to do just took some fanagling here and there but overall it went very well.

I am very pleased with the sound so far. Its just the right amount of rumble without being obnoxious.

I have not had time to do a ton of driving yet and have not been on the highway. We'll see how the drive to work goes tomorrow.

I have attached a few pix I took during the install.

Looks great, it's good to see you did it yourself! I can't wait until I can gather a thousand bucks and install this exhaust on mine.

Easy install and you'll love the sound at wide open throttle. Good luck with it.

Sorry - I won't have time to do this any time too soon. There are other threads with sound clips for this system.

while that is true it is always nice to hear the systems in different environments, different camcorders, even different drivers...

So, after a few days of driving I have to say that I am pretty happy with the sound and feel of the car with this exhaust. Feels great off the line and has a nice low note (not overly loud) cruising on the highway.

Nice job MBRP - and thanks to Jeff at MBRP for his responsiveness to my inquiries.

Just got mine installed this morning. Sounds great, love it and I can definitely feel more there off the line. A tad raspy at high RPMs but hey, it's a V6, a leopard can't change it's spots. Completely satisfied.

Question for you guys though, did ya'll mail in the warranty? How much postage has to go on that to get to Ontario? I've never mailed anything out of country.

Y, I know what you mean by raspy at high RPMs - but I rarely hear that unless I really rev it up.

I haven't sent the warranty card yet...

Glad to hear that you're all set up now...as for the warranty cards, as long as you keep your proof of purchase, regardless if it was directly from us or a dealer your good to go if ever needed. You can just throw the warranty card in the mail if you want, but it's not completely necessary.
