People come into this section to talk and ask questions about improving their performance of their V6 and usually one of the first responses is the guy who just has to post "should have just got and SS..." gosh, why didn't I think of that! And geez, that comment doesn't get old after the oh, the millionth time! And MontyCarlo is 100% right... they ARE directed at us, and we are simply responding... I will say, the number of "get an SS" guys is a very tiny majority! And I do mean tiny. That's my opinion... get used to it!

IF I called you on the phone and said that to you than it would be directed at you on a personal level! But this is a public forum!! Comments are generaly directed to the public unless a name is specificaly used!

Well, that was a waste of perfectly good ones and zeroes. Now that he's gone, can we get back on topic?

The Troll? Son I was on these boards when you were probably on the Mustang Bandwagon back in 2006!
And those that say they didn't settle. Whatever you gotta tell yourself to feel good everytime somebody asks you about your car and the first thing they ask is "Is that the V8"?!! You know I'm right.

This argument coming up more and more.
Appears more SS owners have issue with the V6 vs. V6 owner's have issue with the V8, so to get back on track - the assumption is correct. The V6 owner's are happy and enjoy the mods and power of an engine that really may not have been expecting the performance this car has, while several SS owner's apparently feel a needs to either attack the LT/LS or go postal with a 'V8 or nothing' attitude. Which category do you fit ? Personally, I love my car and don't need to downplay others or go after reasons not to buy an SS. The new Camaro is a great car.

Rolling along...

This ain't the 70's, man! Go back to your V8 forums and keep an eye out for those new fangled electric cars, I hear they can whoop your bad ass V8 without using a single cylinder.

As for the other part... No, actually you are quite wrong... because I know the guy that has to ASK if it's a V8 doesn't KNOW SH*T about cars and will most likely walk away and get into his rusted out Escort...
