Starter noise
I have a sound coming from my car when cranking. I've listened to squealing starters on Youtube and it doesn't sound like that, but anyone have any ideas? I'm thinking it's the starter, but not 100% sure.
Fast forward to 20 seconds to hear the noise. And to be clear, I cut the car off after it started the first time and restarted it just to get the noise on video a couple times.

Check to make sure one of the starter bolts hasn't backed out or something.
I know when I put my LT headers on, I saw one of the bolts was backing out. I was thinking it was a weak battery or starter because it could crank funny/slow.... After tightening the bolt, no issues!

Just replace the starter.
Maybe you can shim it, but not really worth it IMO |
