What were the numbers Josh?

put down 670whp and 780tq at 4k rpms. Rev limiter is set to 5k for buttonwillow this weekend, then I have to check voltage to the fuel pump and possibly run the power directly from the alternator, but then it could just be my fuel filter got clogged; after i have that figured out, back to Carmichael to go on the dyno one more time. Should have a new methanol system by then so 900w and 1k tq should be no problem.

I was hoping to have the car ready for the Mojave Mile in November, but I doubt it's going to happen at this point. 750whp will get me to 200mph, but 220mph requires between 900-1ktq, and thats what im shooting for.

I think you need 900-1000 to hit 200 with these pigs.

They had a camaro a year ago hit 200 with 800w on a whipple setup i think. Past 185mph, the speed picks up really slow. There are other cars with closer to 700whp injecting nitrous around 175 to push them up to 200mph. Just picking up the last 20mph is going to be hard. Got quite a few aerodynamic parts ive been working on and fabbing up, just have to test them out.

Josh what is the background on motor machines? I sure would like to get this tune sorted out, pulling 10deg of timing at wot and surging, dieing on my wife at every other stop light is getting old.

I was basing it off of a guy in a 4th gen who just did it a little while ago with 1000rwhp. The 4th gen's are lighter but I don't know if they are more/less aerodynamic.

Here is a link: http://ls1tech.com/forums/western-me...eo-inside.html

Any links to the guy you mentioned? I would like to read up on this a little more also.
