Corsa with headers is really loud! when you get a cam it makes it feel like its 10 times louder but still no drone. I love my corsa would def recommend it!

Borla Atak is one of the louder exhausts out there. It should not drone on a manual...an Automatic is a little sketchier...especially if teh AFM is not turned off. The Corsa Sport has zero drone, but is a lot more tame. One of the quietest exhausts you can buy.

I have 2" LT headers, high flow cats, Corsa cat back on my ZL1 and I love it... No drone at all! It's even quieter at cursing speeds vs the stock system...

I can't speak for the borla atak system...I choosed Corsa because they are known for " no drone "

I love my setup and couldn't be happier.... I also purchased my system from Maryland speed...

It really is all subjective. I had the borla atak catback first, just that and it was loud but not the loud that I wanted. I got a pair of high flow cats and it made the car perfect to me. Its LOUD. Start up in a garage is nuts lol, I have to really be careful to keep it low late at night. It doesnt sound too raspy to me, just really aggressive. High flow cats really put it where it needed to be though

And from what I've heard the zl1 exhaust fits perfectly on the SS and that all I would need is a new diffuser while for the corsa I would have to get a new diffuser and quad tips to weld on. Just wanted to know what's the big difference between the two? Does one sound louder? Are they both a catback system? And which way would u go (corsa tips diffuser OR zl1 exhaust & new diffuser)? Thanks!
The Zl1 exhaust is also a 3" system vs the corsa sport being a 2.5". They're both catbacks but iirc having a large diameter system without forced induction or headers can lead to power losses due to a loss of back pressure

I have the ATAK with LTH's and there are a few people on here that could attest to my car not sounding like a raspy V6 muffler delete...

Internet videos of exhaust are helpful, but should always be taken lightly. I listened to hundreds of exhaust clips when I had this decision to make. Listening to the same exhaust on different cars in different videos. Sometimes it would sound horrible, and sometimes it would sound awesome. It all depends on what type of device was recording the video, as well as the quality of the speakers you are listening on. You might as well ignore any video taken with a cell phone as most do not have a good enough mic to record the actual sound.

I personally recommend going and listening to a system in person from someone who is already running it locally. This is the only way to truly hear the sound you are looking for. This is what I did and it helped me make a much better decision. I couldn't be happier with my setup.

Gotcha. Then CORSA is the way to go.
It does have that growl on takeoff, and when you 'step on it'
the cars around & behind you will know that you are there!
When I leave a friends house, the next day they tell me that
they could hear me WAY down the road.
The tune got rid of the AFM, so there is no drone.
From what you describe, you are looking for CORSA. Enjoy!
