Anybody going to the Detroit Auto Show next week????

Ive heard from a couple of dealers/ GM employees, that crystal red will be avail much sooner than late 2012, they have said as early as february

I'll make the 4 hour trip for sure if they are going to let people sit in the coupe. It would be nice to know one way or the other before heading out, but I may go regardless.

If you decide to go, see if you can twist one of the GM reps into giving you information about Crystal Red coming on line. I know 8 hours of driving plus 5 hours of walking and two of sitting in a ZL1, will make for a very long day. Thanks, have fun and be safe.

Well hopefully whatever vehicles GM brings to the Detroit Auto Show, they will bring to the Toronto Auto Show. I asked my wife last night when I first saw this thread if she wanted to go. I'm hoping for at least one ZL1 :(. I'll go and look at the high end $250k cars, but we will be making a bee line to the GM section as soon as we get there.

I'm thinking about spending the night on Sunday and going Monday the 16th to avoid the large crowd. Of course, pictures will be posted

I am making the trip and I would be glad to ask for you ! I approched a gm guy last year there and asked about the hp ed. camaro he had me walk away form the crowd and told me what i was looking for would be in Chicago then he walked away. After chicago trip came back home and placed my money down for my zl1. I will post photos when i get back . Old jedi pm if you have any spec questions you would like asked would be glad to help.
