Mustang one uped us- or not?

Anyone else see the video on the 2015 Mustang that covers their brake link feature to allow the car to do a burnout?

It locks the front wheel brakes while letting the rears go wild, via the abs brake system.

They say that their drivers will use it all the time! Drag racing, what they didnt say that racing of any sort will void the warranty!

At first I was jealous but the more I thought about it the more I realized it is just a gimmic that I wouldn't use and if I did it would just get me in trouble with the law!

Would anyone else want that feature on their Camaro?

I think it's really just a gimmick to make people feel better about having to realize that they drive a Mustang. But where do you get that they void the warranty for any sort of racing?

I don't want a void warranty button. It costs less than $300 from SLP. In my opinion, the Mustang is using a gimmicky feature to make up for inferior design and execution.

First of all it's called a "line lock"
Second of all, you can do test and tunes just fine without voiding any warranty...
(If warranties are something you care about)

It is called line lock, but for a Mustang, it voids your warranty in the same way that launch control voided early GT-R warranties.

Yeah, thats a line loc. So they made a factory option for one. SLP sells a retrofit for our car.

Sure, to the common person thats a GREAT option from the factory, but its nothing new to cars and you can get for a little $$.

Guess too many of them were complaining they didn't have enough power to do a burn out.

Agreed. The new mustangs rims and headlights make it resemble a honda accord.
