does anyone know if a buyer can go to oshawa and watch thier car be built and take ownership from there and drive it home? airfare and hotel would be cheaper than $795.00 delivery

It's too bad that it can't be done. It would be really cool to go up there and be the one to start it for the first time and drive it off the line. I'd certainly pay extra for the opportunity.

True, But you still pay the deatination charge plus a museum delivery fee. The tour to see it built costs as well.

I'd like to know which airline and hotel combo gets you to Oshawa from Maryland for less than the destination fee.

I'm not sure if you can actually see your car being built and follow it through the factory but you can get a plant tour (which is available to the public) and pick up your car at the National Corvette Museum next door. You still have to pay the normal shipping fee plus you have to pay $495 for museum delivery.
