Mine was. It was just my seatbelt buckle rubbing on leather/center console. Fixed it and its gone. Im sure your isnt this simple, but sometimes the obvious fix is the hardest to spot.

Def not the seatbelt, more likely something needs to be tightned or the circumfrence of my behind needs to be shrunk

If your seat is in the full rear position it may make this creaking noise. If so, move it forward just a bit. It completely silenced mine.

Have you been to a dealership for a proper diagnosis? This may be the first step that you would want to take to get this issue addressed. Please let us know what you decide to do!

Mine makes a creaking noise when I get in and out and it's all the way to the rear. I'll try your solution to see it works. I wouldn't call the noise terrible.

Send a message via AIM to Mr. Wyndham
All I've ever heard was the leather thigh support rubbing against the plastic button shroud down below...

I can tell you I had the exact same problem. My seat is all the way back since I am very tall. Took DangerZL1's advice and moved the seat slightly forward and the noise is totally gone!

If I recall, there was a bulletin out for this problem. One of the C5 members I know had this same problem. He took it to his dealer and they fixed it. Don't recall exactly the procedure, but thought it involved lubing some part of the seat adjustment assembly. Maybe he will see this and chime in.

mine does it fully back, so I changed the angle some so I could move it forward a bit - perfect after that!
