Yes, the stripe should go onto the fender. I am making a Baldwin Motion and have researched this a great deal how they were painted.

Mine look like this:

Thats perfect! If you painted that Id like to say excellent job! Plus I love the color combo! Mine was Mulsanne Blue with white stripes. I wish I had that car back, gas mileage sucked but man it would run! Great job! What color of blue is that, very stunning.

Well, I cant take the credit for spraying the paint, but I did lay out the stripes. A buddy of mine painted it at his shop. He is very good.

As for the color, it is arrival blue with corporate white. The arrival blue is a nice color in the sun. Has a little metal in it that pops the color.
I decided to do my Baldwin blue/white because you never see that combo.

It sure looks great in that color combo! Are you going to put Cragars on it? I see your from NY, Is MOTION still around? They were in Long Island. Do they still make these emblems? They are off my old car, been thinking about doing the same and building a clone of it. Wish I had it back! But had to sell it for college funds.

Built .40 over 350, polished and ported, Iron Eagle Heads and Valves, Scorpion High Performance lifters, Edelbrock Performer RPM High Rise Intake, Edelbrock 750 carb, Holley Blue Electric fuel pump, converted to dual electric fans, 3 inch exhaust going into 4 foot glasspack sidepipes, will be exchanging the manifolds (only way at the time to make the sidepipes work) to headers after the holidays, rear disc conversion kit with drilled/slotted rotors. Car was originally a 305, 2-speed powerglide and limited slip. It's now the 350, TH350, and posi rear. I'm almost certain it has 2.73 gears, so we'll be moving up to 3.73 or 4.11's by Spring.
allright!! who says that berlinettas cant be good? if ya put some time into them, they can be just as good as any other camaro!! WOOT WOOT!

Looks like a 3 inch Unlimited L-88 style hood. I think that these hoods can be pinned in front or have latch plates installed for an additional cost so you wont have to run hood pins.

The hood is VFN. I chose VFN because they have a top notch hood and it is finished underneath. It is quality all the way around.

I also have put in the hood pins in front because that is the way they were back then.

I had unlimited before and they are not worthy to put on a show car. Currently, there is only 2 or 3 companies who still make a L-88 for the 2nd gen. They are getting hard to find.

No Cragars, I have big brakes on it so I have to go to a 16" in front.

I got Torque thrust D-classics in 16" for the front & 17" for the rear

That color is beautiful, love the shot of the hood pin, the flash just made the color POP!! Agreed, some of Unlimited hoods werent very good quality, Asyou said the L-88 hoods are getting hard to find. I didnt know that VFN even made one. Always liked this style on the second gen Camaros, did you have to do much prep work, or did it fit that well out of the box?
