And I guess mine was one of the ones with the funky right one because they put the left one on easy and had to bend the right one to get it one! But its on, and welded on, and it sounds AMAZING!
How far are you from North Fort Worth (Alliance), TX? I would love to hear this in person

Did install instructions come with your 2.0 exaust? I didn't receive any. I've looked on their site and came up empty. I sent them an email this morning. I haven't heard back from MRT but I'm impatient that way.

Ahhh... Johnny Stacks, my alter-ego! Seem to host all my v6john.com photos on my old johnnystacks site... LOL!

Sorry you had to search for it... I was on the road yesterday and didn't see you post until after you had already found it...

No problem at all. I've read through this thread so many times in the past that I felt dumb when I realized I had missed it. I can't wait to install them. Thanks!

ok...ordered these Saturday morning, should be here by week's end...! so freaking excited; love my car but the stock exhaust sound was always a bit disappointing...almost ordered v1.0 but opted for V2.0 at the last second, like litteraly seconds before giving my CC#...i'm sure i'll be pleased!

Based on everyone's input on this forum over the past 5 months, including my own, you should be extremely pleased with your decision.

Version 1.0

I just ordered MRT Version 1.0. Now I'm hoping I made the right choice. I was leaning towards Version 2.0 but I really want something that is noticeable even at idle and cruising speeds. I didn't want it to sound stock at 2K and less rpm. What scares me is I see people posting in the original "My V6 Exhaust Experiment" http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31844 thread that they are adding sound dampening to the trunk.

When watching scrming's videos I didn't think it was THAT loud. It was a last minute decision between Version 1.0 and Version 2.0. I think the kicker was that scrming said they really should call them Performance and Street version. Does anyone have Version 1.0 and love it? Do you really need to dampen the sound?

I love both Versions...

The thing with Ver. 1.0 is the "boomy" resonance that happens around 1800-2000 RPM, light load, light throttle... some find it annoying, others like me don't mind it... It is possible to shift the car and drive around that RPM range if you find it bother you....

Heck... almost tempted to see if Scott still has my Ver 1.0 proto-type laying around the shop! LOL

Having put the V1.0 on when I bought my Camaro I took it off after 1,500 miles because it was too loud. I think I would have been happier with the v2.0.

You will know within 200 miles whether you like the V1.0.

Thanks Scrming, that gives me some reassurance in Version 1.0 that I just ordered. I'll give them a try. I have seen posts from guys who love Version 1.0. I want to be able to here it a idle and low speed. If they are too loud, I can always unstrap them and strap on Version 2.0.

Thanks for the input tradosaurus. I guess it's all a matter of preference. I'm going to give them a try though. What did you replace it with and what did you do with the MRTs you took off?
