Looking for some help in the St Louis area.

Hey guys, I'm stationed over in Southern Illinois right next to St Louis and I am looking for some help with an install. I'm looking to get a Hurst Short Throw Shifter and it seems I should also do the bushings too if I am going to do this job.

If there is anyone willing to help me out with the install, I'd greatly appreciate it. This will be a pretty big project for me, so I'd like to learn more while I go about it.

Thanks for any help you guys can offer!

If you want to drive to KC, I will help. I built my car in my garage so I'm pretty familiar with them.

Mike- I wish I knew more about installing these items, but would be happy to help if you need it. I am always willing to learn some new stuff! I live about 15 minutes from SAFB and have access to a lift.

While you're at it, if you're on Facebook check our Camaro club at Southern Illinois Camaros.

Hey Deke, thanks for you help. I'll be ordering the parts once the weather gets a little nicer. What'll I owe ya? Beer, lunch?

You seem like you've done a lot to your car, so shouldn't be too rough (I hope).

Just my two cents, but I've heard of several folks not being real happy that they made the switch....Drive a car that has the short throw before you decide to drop the dime

Sorry I missed this! Just shoot me a PM whenever it warms up and we'll figure it out!

There's a guy in St Louis named Chad, his company is called CBI street cars. He's done a few things on my 94 Z28 and seems very knowledgeable and I'm having him do my supercharger on my 10 SS in the spring. Just another option for ya.

I'm also stationed at Scott so maybe I will see you around, where you work at on base? I will also be checking out the club on Facebook.

Chad Barton is quickz0h6 on here. He knows a thing or two about building cars. He built Dave Steck's 1000rwhp vette and Genevieve's 1100+RWHP camaro. Genevieve (obviously not his real name) is on this site too.
