sorry I forgot to post back but it turns out that the problem was the 2 torx screws on the plate by the hinge was in too tight and that pushes up the front fascia making it not line up properly .. I just wish I noticed that before taking off the whole front bumper again lol

thanks for the vids G. I have had the heritage grill since it first came out, still in the box in my garage waiting for me to install it. Your vids inpired me and gave me confidence I can do it right. Thanks again.

can you take a pic of the bolts that you are talking about, just for reference...please?

I had the same question. I just did this last weekend and there are no Torqz bolts...just the screws in the fender well

I'll try to remember when I get home .. maybe there not called torx screws but they are the screws that are on the left and right of the hood latch(not hinge sorry)that need the special T-something screwdriver head they are the only ones under the hood that are visible shouldn't be hard to find them

Ok so this video makes it very easy looking, BUT, that top bolt of the 3 in a row on the inside is a PITA!! It is not that easy to get at with a ratchet or bolt driver! those 2 bolts (one on driver side, one on passenger side) took me longer to get off than the rest of the bolts combined!!
